BBC Future

This data visualisation explores four bacteria responsible for most of the world's infections, as identified by the World Health Organization. The artwork maps the antibiotic resistance rate by region and compares it to the GDP per capita.

An interesting detail: the central radial visualisation was inspired by the petri dish used to grow bacteria.

I was a member of the team at Beyond Words Studio that worked on the project's design.
